Snuggled into the Sierra Nevada foothills between Sacramento & Tahoe is a special place called the Coloma Lotus Valley. Visitors often first come here for the whitewater thrills, then are drawn into the gentle charm of the valley and its many amenities and settle here permanently like Avelon did! The easy going climate and friendly folks make this a perfect place to live. Families love the first-rate schools, and everyone benefits from the many restaurants, community events and beauty of this remarkable river valley and it's surrounding country towns offer.

American River Music Festival Schedulede for September 22 and 23 this event takes place not only at Henningsen Lotus Park, but also at three nearby riverside campgrounds. In addition to nine main-stage performances at the park, each campground will feature a more intimate performance on Saturday evening and a workshop/performance on Sunday morning. Tickets for the non-profit event can be obtained by calling (530)622-6044 or visiting the website, www.americanrivermusic.org
Anticipated performers include; Dan Crary, a flatpicking guitarist who has been performing all over the worked for more than 50 years. He will be appearing with Beppe Gambetta, a native of Genova, Italy.
